Caring For Your Keepsake

Your Keepsake is crafted using a high quality resin and precious metals. To help protect it for years to come please ensure you follow this care guide.

Sterling silver will naturally tarnish. This is mainly caused by sulphur gasses in the air, however it can also by caused by humidity, acidity in the skin and various chemical products. 

We recommend cleaning your keepsake gently with a polishing cloth. Do  not use silver/gold dips or fluid. 

Gold is less likely to tarnish, but it can be cleaned with a soft cloth if needed

We highly recommend removing your jewellery for the following activities to prevent damage from various chemicals:

• Swimming 
• Showering/bathing
• Applying products / perfumes / hand gels
• Housework
• Sunbathing (damage from UV)

We also recommend removing jewellery when pieces are more likely to get damaged, such as sleeping, sporting activities and the gym.

When it's not being worn, store your keepsake safely in its gift box, or in a jewellery box. This will help prevent tarnishing and damage.

All items are covered by a 12 month warranty. This covers any faults in craftsmanship. It does not cover accidental damage. All items returned to us in this period will be assessed before repairs are carried out. 

If your keepsake becomes damaged after the 12 month warranty, feel free to still contact us as we may be able to repair it for you, at a charge. We may ask you to send photos, or we may need to see the keepsake to advise on the best plan of action.
